just in time for christmas

This antique buffet is making its debut right in time for Christmas. It really, really wants a new home for the holidays :-)

Oh how fun it was to paint!! The beautiful gray-green color is neutral enough to match with almost anything. We chose Belle Craie Pompeii chalk style paint. The chalk style paint usually requires the least amount of prep work and goes on so smooth - win win. Distressing was a must, but we kept it classy - looks sooooo pretty!!

The ornate details on this buffet are amazing and the piece is in excellent condition. We were even able to use the original knobs.

This one was a dream to refurbish. Someone took such loving care of it and we hope that this fresh new look will keep it looking beautiful for years to come! Here are a few more shots of this beauty:
